Christine Weston

Christine Weston is currently an Innovation Coach with Hopewell City Public Schools, where she has partnered with educators for the past seven years to strengthen instructional practice, build collective efficacy, and elevate student learning. She also serves as the lead mentor for new teachers in her school community, supporting educators as they begin their professional journey.

Prior to her work in coaching and leadership, Christine spent 16 years in the classroom as a kindergarten and first-grade teacher, developing deep expertise in early literacy, student engagement, and purposeful learning design. During that time, she served as a grade-level chair, providing instructional leadership, fostering collaboration among colleagues, and helping teams design aligned, meaningful learning experiences.

Christine is passionate about shifting people’s thinking—helping educators rethink what’s possible and move from low-level worksheets to deeply meaningful, student-centered learning experiences. Her work centers on supporting teachers and teams in creating rigorous, engaging instruction that empowers students and makes learning visible.

Christine has also collaborated with High Tech High, further shaping her belief in transformational, project-based learning and the power of innovative school structures. She is known for her ability to challenge ingrained practices, inspire meaningful change, and help teams design learning experiences that are grounded in purpose, equity, and student voice.

Through her coaching, facilitation, and leadership, Christine brings both warmth and intellectual rigor to her work supporting educators in building classrooms and systems where both teachers and students thrive.
