
Judy Christopher
Judy Christopher has over 30 years of experience in education and was most recently the Educational Specialist for Elementary Science for Henrico County Public Schools. By leveraging her combined experience as an elementary classroom teacher, a staff development instructor and a curriculum specialist, she is able to effectively coach and support both teachers and administrators in best practices for elementary science.
Judy has pioneered interactive technologies and supported district wide implementation of learning management systems and assessment platforms. She has created and delivered professional learning on many topics including student driven inquiry, Total Participation Techniques, components of Visible Learning, Project WILD, tiered vocabulary, scientific discourse, performance tasks, and scientific and engineering practices,
Judy’s passion is helping teachers make science instruction accessible and meaningful for all students. She believes that by engaging students in authentic experiences and hands-on science, they will solidify understanding of concepts, transfer of knowledge and make connections between their observations and the world outside of the classroom.
In her free time, Judy enjoys camping, boating, water skiing, traveling and spending quality time with family!!
