
Erich Sneller
Erich Sneller currently teaches Environmental Science, Geology, and Elementary Science Education courses at James Madison University. From 2015–2025, he taught a mix of Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Environmental Science in Harrisonburg City Public Schools, where he also served for three years as Assistant Director of the Governor’s STEM Academy, leading the division’s largest secondary program. He is honored to be part of the CTLG team, where he enjoys helping schools bring out the best in their leaders, teachers, and students.
Outside of academia, Erich teaches a weekly yoga class at The Center Yoga Collective in downtown Harrisonburg, VA, and serves as a facilitator with the Center for Courage & Renewal, an organization that fosters personal and professional growth through reflection, connection, and purpose-driven community. He loves reading, gardening, spending time with friends, and hanging out with his cat, Lola.
