Bethany Lightfield

Bethany Lightfield is an experienced educator with over 14 years of experience in middle school math education, encompassing both classroom teaching and leadership roles. She currently serves as a Middle School Math Coach in Prince William County Schools, where she is dedicated to enhancing student engagement and learning for all students. She has recently expanded her expertise to consult with elementary and high school educators on strategies to support diverse learners. Bethany holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership with a Math Specialist focus from Regent University. She has shared her insights on student centered teaching strategies at various conferences, including the Building Thinking Classrooms national conference, the Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics conference, National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics Conference, and the Virginia Council of Math Specialists conferences.
