Essex County Public Schools engaged in a partnership with Collaborative Teaching and Learning Group Consulting in efforts to support our teachers in the area of raising the rigor of instruction through math discourse. Within 24 hours of our first professional development session, we began to see evidence of teachers implementing the high yield strategies they learned the previous day. We began to see strategies such as “Which One Doesn’t Belong”, “Guess My Rule”, “Splat”, and more. The strategies they learned were easy to understand and easy to implement immediately.  I am thrilled to continue to partner with  the Collaborative Teaching and Learning Group.
